From the crackle of the wood-fired hot tub to evenings by the communal fire pit, every detail is intentional - an invitation to step outside, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the natural world around you.
Here, mornings begin with the sounds of birdsong, the gentle breeze moving through the trees, footsteps along the gravel path, perhaps the comforting crackle of a fire. In the evenings, choose between community fire pit to connect with fellow guests or private spaces to unwind in solitude, immersed in the quiet beauty of nature.

The Gray Fox spans over 18 acres of wooded, mountainous terrain dotted with natural springs, offering a haven of natural beauty and a 600’ elevation gain. At the Gray Fox, we encourage you to spend your vacation enjoying nature the way you choose.
If you’re in to hiking, biking, fishing, boating, kayaking, whitewater rafting, river tubing or a thrilling drive on the world renowned Tail of The Dragon, the Gray Fox is just minutes away from countless opportunities for outdoor adventure.
If you’re in to reading, relaxing on the beach, soaking in the hot tub, afternoon naps and cuddling by the fire, the Gray Fox is a restful haven of privacy for you to enjoy.
Every dome offers a wood-fired hot tub, private deck with outdoor seating and fire pit. Inside you will enjoy a luxury, king size bed, wood burning stove, and comfy armchairs. Each dome is also equipped with a microwave, mini fridge, over sized cooler, electric kettle and pour over coffee maker.
Our communal bathrooms are private, each equipped with a full shower, toilet and hand sink. We ask all guests to do their part in conserving water and please remember clean up after yourself; the bathrooms are a shared space.
Included necessities: one set of sheets, one comforter, one throw blanket, two bath towels, two hand towels, two kitchen towels, two mugs.
In addition to your private room, deck and hot tub, all guests have access to the communal bath house and general store. We also encourage you to explore our 18+ acre grounds as well as the surrounding area of Robbinsville. Our community fire pit and patio are available as a shared space for fun activities and games to enjoy, or sit out by Highway 129 and watch as motorcycles and sports cars from all over the world pass by heading toward adventure on the Tail of The Dragon.

Our fresh mountain spring water filled, wood fired hot tubs require a good deal of wood (available for purchase in our camp store), time (6 hours) and attention to bring the cold water to temperature on the first night. However, they maintain their temperature well and need much less attention after that first heating. We do offer a hot tub concierge service that includes wood to heat the hot tub and we will tend to your hot tub fire and bring it to temperature the first night for a fee. Please message us in advance (prior to your arrival date) if you are interested in this service. Due to time constraints, late requests may not be able to be honored.

Bath house is stocked with Beekman 1802 Fresh Air shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap.
Domes are stocked with one set of sheets, one duvet, one throw blanket, two bath towels, one hand towel, one kitchen towel, hangers, two mugs, sugar, and cream for coffee or tea.
Appliances in dome:
Electric kettle, pour over coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge with freezer, cooler, lanterns, USB and electrical outlets in night tables, and air conditioner/ heater.

In our camp store you will find many drink and snack options along with necessity and gift items available for purchase. We have ground coffee, snacks, treats, ice tea, soda, milk and other beverages, fire wood for your private fire pit and your wood fired hot tub, small bags of charcoal for the park grills and many other items available for purchase.
